Use National Volunteer Month as your organization’s natural, timely platform to build up your thought leadership platform, telling stories of community impact, volunteer recognition and mission-driven leadership. These are not just feel-good moments. They are strategic deposits into a trust account you may need to draw from later. Every op-ed published, every panel joined, every community conversation led by your executive director is an act of pre-positioning.
