A seasoned strategist and tactician, Leah Ekmark Williams is known to tackle challenges head-on. Her expertise in creating and implementing effective campaigns for B2B and B2C clients ranges from real estate, construction, engineering and design to retail, healthcare, financial services and technology. She has done extensive media training for diverse groups—from C-suite executives, leadership teams, board members and new employees to construction crews, property managers, and higher education teams—leading essential communication workshops during client meetings, shareholder events, and onboarding processes. She is also regularly asked to speak at conferences to provide best practices on proactive media relations and thought leadership strategies as well as crisis communications 101.

An East Dallas native, Leah believes in the value of relationship-building for her clients and makes these connections possible due to her strong Dallas roots and her commitment to the community. Under her direction, Dala has established a long track record with clients, building brand awareness and successfully executing thought leadership campaigns and memorable events. Leah’s strategic approach to client work and ongoing community involvement earned her recognition as a Top 40 Under 40 2018 from the Dallas Business Journal.

An accredited PR professional and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Alum, Leah has served as president of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Dallas Chapter and was named a Top 40 Under 40 in 2021. PRSA Dallas also awarded her the 2016 Norm Teich Community Service Award. A long-time Big Sister for Big Brothers/Big Sisters (BBBS) Lone Star, Leah was elected to the inaugural junior board and served as chair. She was named the 2019 Young Professional of the Year by BBBS.

The Dallas Regional Chamber selected Leah for its 2019 Leadership Dallas class, the premier leadership development program in the Dallas region. She was also named a Woman to Watch in 2019 and beyond in media, marketing, and communications according to The Business Journals’ Bizwomen publication. She is also passionate about education and serves on various boards and committees connected to the Dallas ISD Woodrow feeder pattern.
