A seasoned strategist and tactician, Leah Ekmark Williams is known to tackle challenges head-on. Her expertise in creating and implementing effective campaigns for clients in industries ranging from real estate to retail, healthcare to construction, financial services to design, transportation to technology and more have helped her create an edge over her clients’ competition. By implementing ideas that work across multiple communication channels, and honing those that pertain to particular industries, Leah produces results in both traditional and new media formats for clients of Dala.
Leah believes in the value of relationship-building for her clients and makes these connections possible by her commitment to the community with her involvement in various professional and industry organizations, locally and nationally. Leah devised the strategy and launch of The Real Estate Council’s (TREC) 2010 social media campaign while providing ongoing support to internal staff. With TREC, she has also served as Fight Night publicity chair and marketing/PR chair for TREC Young Guns. Leah spearheaded the group’s first Volunteer Day in 2009, drawing more than 80 young real estate executives from across the industry to give back to the community, and creating a signature event that continues even today. An East Dallas native, she developed the grassroots creative strategy and led a community in renewing and celebrating a new co-brand for the beloved area she still calls home, East Dallas.
An accredited PR professional, Leah served as president of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Dallas Chapter in 2014. Leah received the 2016 Norm Teich Community Service Award from PRSA Dallas for her work in community leadership.
